There and Back Again: Katerina's Journey

Hi everyone, well it seems like the first official blog post is going to be about why it is taking so long for me to get everything up and running. Life, as always, is a winding stream that always ends up in the oceans of our memories. While I am in the process of writing a fictional tale to help those like me have a voice, my real voice still needs to be heard. Recent events in Tennessee have brought some things back up that do need to be addressed. Parents, educators, doctors, government officials all need to listen for just a moment because I am not the only one. To those of you that I am about to trigger some very nasty memories, I am deeply sorry I have caused you pain.
